  • The City of Laconia is located in Belknap County in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. The city is located on four different lakes: Lake Winnipesaukee, Lake Opechee, Paugus Bay and Lake Winnisquam. The City is bounded on the north by the town of Meredith and Lake Winnipesaukee, on the west by Lake Winnisquam, on the east by the Town of Gilford and on the south by the towns of Belmont and Gilford. The City encompasses a total of 27.243 square miles, of which 21.126 square miles is land and 6.117 square miles is water.
