The City of Laconia initiated Phase I of the Lakes Business Park in the mid-1990's. Phase I consisted of five lots, four of which are currently occupied. In 2002, the City of Laconia and Town of Gilford began a joint venture to develop Phase II of the Park which consists of 113 acres of land developed into 19 lots.The goal of this joint venture was to create a quality business park environment while maintaining the rural character of the area.

The Park is conveniently located adjacent to the Laconia By-Pass between Routes 107 and 11-A with easy access from both routes. All lots are fully served by municipal sewer, water and natural gas. Lakes Business Park‘s infrastructure is complete and ready for immediate occupancy.
