City of Laconia City Clerk's Office


The City Clerk's Office performs a wide variety of functions. Primarily, it acts as the central record storage location for all City departments. In addition to the primary functions, it is also a Municipal Agent for the State of New Hampshire, allowing them to process a variety of Motor Vehicle registrations. The City Clerk's Office is responsible for preparing and overseeing all elections being held in the City of Laconia, including municipal, state and federal elections.

UPDATES

2013 Boat registrations will be available in the City Clerk's Office beginning on January 1, 2013!

 

Did you know you can process your boat registration at the same time as you conduct other business at City Hall? It's easy and convenient! Just bring in your photo identification and prior years registration (if you have it) and we can get the paperwork out of the way so you will be ready to put your boat in the water when the ice melts. No waiting for your registration to get mailed back to you. Get it done early and conveniently at the City Clerk's Office.

**Please make checks payable to City of Laconia**

In accordance with RSA 270-E:5, II (c) an additional $5 will be collected for each registration processed as an authorized agent .
